Position: Business development manager for IP Video, CCTV, access system and Solar Solutions

The organization is currently looking for an experienced Business development manager to join our Tanzania office. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new business in areas of products and services for end users and reseller for security and access solutions, solar solutions and ICT solutions.
This position will report to the Managing Director. This person should be a self-starter with a proven track record in new business development, sales and marketing, Finance, Management, brand building and identifying new areas of opportunities. The right individual will have the opportunity to move up to the position of COO or CEO.

Responsibilities of Position:
• Execute sales and marketing strategy
• Plans and execute strategies to acquire new business within the field of IP Video, CCTV, Access Systems and Solar Solutions
• Prepare SOPs for quality products and services, customer satisfaction, employee training, working environment and team work
• Manage all stake holders involved in the business
• Interview, hire, evaluate and train HR
• Liaise closely with the local sales teams in execution of sales strategy for corporate and residential accounts
• Coordinate sales and product training
• Identify new partners/brands that company can represent as the exclusive distributor for all portfolios
• Support marketing and communications teams to ensure growth in sales and customer satisfaction
• Track all aspects of operations, document them and report them to the Chairman
• Identify new opportunities within related industries
• Monitor and maintain company’s account
• Monitor, screen and approve all procurements
• Set Financial goals, monitor and achieve them
• Prepare budgets and implement it.
• Monitor cost and company’s bank account.
• Head all aspects of the company
Key Success Qualification:
• Focus on customer relations and specifically on current and future needs
• Ability to plan strategically to increase business with identified and new accounts
• Prepare and submit timely written reports to the Chairman
• Entrepreneur experience and ability to manage adverse situations
• Good time management skills
• Good listener and executor
• Flexible and open minded
• Understand financial goals and necessities
• Ability to deal with bureaucracy
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize
• Be a problem-solver, resourceful and proactive individual
• Excellent written and oral communication
• Motivate and train employees
• Growth of top and bottom line of company
Desired Skills and Experience
• Bachelors degree or equivalent in business administration, engineering, or related field
• Five years sales and customer management experience in ICT and CCTV business
• Fluent in English both verbal and written
• Two years’ experience in financial and company’s overall management

Salary: Attractive based on experience
