Day trip Mikumi National park from Dar es salaam - Dar es Salaam

A very short trip designed to start from Dar es salaam and take you to a safari to Mikumi National Park. Expect to see animals such as Lions, Buffaloes, Giraffe, Wildebeest, Zebras, Impalas, Warthogs, elephants, hippos, more than 300 bird species and different plant species.

Mikumi National Park is transected by surfaced road between Dar-es-Salaam and Iringa. It is the most accessible park and the fourth largest park in Tanzania with more than 400 birds species recorded with such colorful common residents as the lilac breasted rolled yellow shrouded long claw. Hippos are also the park's attraction of their pools situated 5 km north of the main entrance gate.

5:00 One of our trusted stuff and a driver will pick you up from the your hotel in Dar es salaam with a Transfer transport which is Luxury and confortable.

5 hours to the National park

9:30 to 10:00 Arrival at the park gate - it's good time to see a lot of animals at this time, normally registration takes 15 minutes.

We will take a safari transport for game in the National Park which much good to explore animals. The game drive will continue for 6 hours to explore different animals in the park.

13:00 We will have the lunch break at Mikumi Wildlife Camp. You will rest for a half an hour then continue with game drive to explore hippopotamus swamps with hippos and crocodile.

17:00 Return back to Dar es salaam to your hotel. End of the trip.
